As most know the two Frenchmen given credit for the birth of our sport are Emile Gagnan and Jacques Cousteau. However historically the birth of the first SCUBA regulator can be traced back ...

It would stand to reason that exploring uncharted territories and discovering previously unidentified species would be reserved for scientists, scholars and occasionally the most fortunate civilians. In the case of our planet’s oceans, however, this could not be farther from the truth. In fact, many of the world’s most fascinating bodies of water are accessible to everyone. Posted Dec. 2, 2011, 10:01 a.m.

I was asked recently if there were any organisations that had published a set of rules for superyacht Owners in order that they could better understand how ‘they’ should operate their vessel, and also the regulations that they should be aware of. In fact there isn’t a set of rules available, although their yacht employs a professional Captain who should be able to provide guidance if asked.
